The Impact of EQ

How much of an impact does EQ have on professional success? The short answer… a lot!

It’s a powerful way to focus your energy in one direction with a tremendous result. EQ has been tested alongside 33 other important skills and found that it embodies the majority of them. Our EQ is the foundation for a host of critical skills including time management, decision-making, communication, assertiveness, change-tolerance, empathy, trust, accountability, flexibility, customer service, and presentation skills to name a few. It is so critical for success that it accounts for 58% of performance in all types of jobs. It is, hands down, the single largest predictor of performance in the workplace and the strongest driver of leadership and personal excellence.

The great news is no matter whether people measure high or low in EQ, they can work to improve it, and those that score low can actually catch up. In order to be successful and fulfilled, we must all learn to maximize our EQ skills. For those who employ a unique blend of reason and feeling to understand the impact of EQ do go on to achieve their greatest potential.

Let us know if you would like to discuss the EQ 2.0 assessment and have an expert consultation that goes with it.  We love helping others grow their EQ!
