Extraordinary Effort

In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results; the strength of the effort is the measure of the result. — James Allen

Hal Elrod in “The Miracle Equation” states that extraordinary effort has three components:

ACTIONS THAT MOVE YOU CLOSER TO YOUR IDEAL RESULTS.

We must keep our mind focused and our actions productive. This ensures that we will not waste time on tasks and activities that yield only short-term benefits or have minimal impact.

ACTIONS THAT WILL TAKE YOU OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.

This is where growth happens. We know this, doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Getting out of our comfort zone will feel unnerving at first, yet with time it will become the new normal.

CONSISTENT EFFORT OVER AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.

A keynote here is to apply consistent effort regardless of the results along the way. This is the glue that holds this all together. We get no where when we take a few steps and quit. We must remain committed to go the distance. The benefit is that consistency makes things easier.

CALL TO ACTION:

Examine your mindset around effort when it comes to your priorities. What if anything needs to change to achieve your ideal results?
