I can do what you cannot, and you can do what I cannot. Together we can do great things. — Mother Teresa

Patrick Lencioni defines a pinnacle team by being these three things; humble, hungry, and smart. Does humility, passion, and emotional intelligence exist within your team? Do they exist in you as a part of the team?

Teamwork is born when we focus on WE instead of ME. Like our coats, let’s start checking our ego at the door. Spinning more plates doesn’t increase our talent, it increases the likelihood of dropping a plate.

Few people are fond of admitting that they can’t do everything. We weren’t created to fly solo in life.  Andrew Carnegie declared that “It marks a big step in your development when you come to realize that other people can help you do a better job than you can do alone.”

To accomplish something really big, let’s check our ego and fully embrace being part of a team. Teamwork makes the dream work.
