Top Priorities

Action expresses priorities. — Mahatma Gandhi

There are a lot of things that can be considered top priorities. The seven that are linked together for me are faith, purpose, physical health, important relationships, personal growth, emotional well-being, and financial responsibility. It is a bit like links in a chain where they each have a role in life. We need each link to be strong to perpetuate our ability to reach our greatest potential. A weak link or missing link creates a void.

There are times when I feel discontent or out of sorts. I have learned in those moments to evaluate each area of my priorities. Has something slipped? If so, that’s why I am disconnected from my desire and ability to add value to others.

Certainly, top priorities are personal for everyone. What is important for one person will be different for someone else. The point is to determine which are yours, and then establish the goal of staying connected to them to life your best life.

Create your list of top priorities and evaluate their strengths together.
