Generate Team Enthusiasm

Certainly, a leader needs a clear vision of the organization and where it is going, but a vision is of little value unless it is shared in a way so as to generate enthusiasm and commitment. Leadership and communication are inseparable. — Claude Taylor

Great leaders never assume that their team members understand the mission. They don’t take anything for granted. Never assume they understand how their talents and efforts are supposed to contribute to the team. Communicate it often.

Vince Lombardi’s first speech every season began, “This is a football.” and John Wooden taught his players every season how to properly put on their socks to avoid foot injuries while playing basketball.

In that continual communication, we generate enthusiasm to make them a real TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More
